Haha, I scored this one last year. Nice to meet a like-minded invidual such as yourself!

I love weird, whacko shiite like this!!!

Anything (such as with Production Music) that you can't get via retail or other regular avenues such as The Last Supper, or L. Ron Hubbard, et al gets me excited because they're truly "One of a Kind" type releases.

In fact, one of Fraykerbreaks comps on this site, "We Are All Someone Else's Food," included part of a sermon by "Dr." Jack Van Impe's in one of the tracks.

What always grabs my attention is:
*   Ranting, Raving & Foaming at the Mouth Preachers
*   Snake Oil Salesmen / Motivational Speakers
*   Televangelists - Jimmy Swaggart is pretty entertaining in my book http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/cute.png

*   Gloom and Doom / World Coming To An End, etc.

I love all these type LPs.

Sometimes, after hearing the content of what a speaker has to say, I'm tempted to put those LPs in my "Comedy" folder instead of "Faith & Motivation."

For the really bad, dogmatic and judgmental LPs such as in Jerry Falwell's rantings, I have another folder which I call "Religious Vomit."

Is that wrong?

I don't think I have anything by Mr. Crowley. http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/devious.png

There's a slim chance I may have it downloaded but not tagged and uploaded into iTunes.

Nothing goes into iTunes unless it's first vetted, tagged and presentable (front & back covers, etc) for listening/sharing with others.

That's my own special madness...

I know where I've seen Mr. Crowley!

A while ago I dl an obscure German 3xLP re: paranormal happenings, seances, exorcisms, etc. called:

" Okkulte Stimmen - Mediale Musik: Recordings of Unseen Intelligences 1905-2007 "

And Aliester Crowley was on that LP for a couple of tracks. AHA!

But otherwise, I have no Crowley-specific downloads or LPs...

What makes this LP "special" is that all these recordings are supposedly "on the level." Ultimately, the individual listener has to decide for themselves whether what they're hearing is real or contrived, but I thought the entire subject was interesting simply because the topic isn't discussed openly in "polite" conversation.

That alone makes a subject interesting and worth digging deeper (in my opinion) ie. societal fears, superstitions, etc. What an individual or society truly believes deep in their inner selves is generally what they keep closest to their vest and don't reveal to others.

I guess that's my inner-sociologist speaking. And this LP picqued my interest. So now I have a copy.
