Re: Just heard a library track being used....

Found out about these three commercials for some financial advisory company called Charles Schwab last night. The company's channel has three commercials uploaded. The first one uses Mountain Hut Landler by Martin Beeler from "Authentic Switzerland" (Sonoton). The third one uses Aloha by Dick Stephen Walter on the "Editor's Companion 2" album (KPM). I don't however know the track played in the second one.

And just today addition, the reveal trailer for Mario + Rabbids plays Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture by Fiachra Trench and Peter Tchaikovsky (KPM-0114).

Re: Just heard a library track being used....

At 14:09 in this recording of commercials from an NBC station (US based for those that don't know what that is) back in 1980, a commercial for Playtex bras using Pete Morris' library classic "Flirtation" off Bruton Contemporary Orchestral, which to me was always the theme from the US porn flick "Silky", also from 1980. Guess this tune screamed sex over here for it to be used for bras too LOL

Fun collection of commercials from 1980. What's the groovy tune at 9:09 for Matchabelli cologne?

I was actually wondering the same thing. By the sound of it, it's probably some rare undiscovered library cut from over here that the library aint been unearthed yet. That's why I didn't bother to post it in the ID section lol

I see Aldi are currently using Laurie Johnson's "Chase That Car" to sell us their wares!

Not seen that - I did hear a classy KPM in a UK ad with Brownlee brothers the other day.   Can't remember which tune.
